  • This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is documented by Motion Performance co-founder, Joel Rosen, and believed to be the last Phase III equipped Camaro built and sold by Baldwin-Motion. Its life began when it was personally built and owned by Rosen’s best mechanic, Dominick LoPinto, during a time of extreme scrutiny by the EPA. Motion Performance was threatened to stop removing smog equipment from cars at the risk of huge fines. Succumbing to government and regulatory pressure, Motion Performance stopped producing super cars and sold their last few builds simply as “Used Cars”.
Like all Motion builds, this Camaro has been customized for both looks and performance. It features a Light Copper Metallic finish with white Motion Performance stripes with a contrasting black interior. Under the L88 hood dwelled a 575hp 454 LS6 Rat motor connected to a TH400 automatic transmission and a beefy 12-bolt posi rear with 4.10 gears. The interior sported bucket seats and Motion-installed roll bar. All this muscular-goodness rolled on a set of American Racing wheels shod with Mickey Thompson S/S Indy 70 Profile tires.
