Model Information:
Solid is a type of infantryman's equipment classified as a light armor type.
Its development was before that of the Pawn series as a result of the search for BMI-compatible infantry equipment, which is affiliated with the Warmage series.
Although this armor is a piece of transitional equipment and uses 2.5th generation technology, its lightweight design and high degree of movement still meet the requirements for special operations today. Even after the emergence of Pawns and the new weapon system, Armor Type, the LAT Solid still continues to be used.
Warmage is designed to expand use of BMI, which focuses on the operation of Armors and HEXA GEAR, and has optics throughout its body to improve vision of movement at close range and enhance adaptability to CQC.
However, the BMI system was implemented before solving problems such as the abnormal load placed on the brain for processing enormous amounts of information and keeping nonhuman equipment under control.
Of course, a solution to this problem that lurks around until the later "Trance Corridor" is being searched for, and a significant amount of data was obtained during synchronous tests with BMI and BULKARM GLANZ, which was being developed at the same time.
?PRIME?
There are several grades of LAT Solid in accordance to users’ physique and BMI proficiency. Full-spec models for adults are called Prime.
After the emergence of the Pawn series, the Solid series shifted from front-line combat to training and special missions. However, seeing how light the suits are, a special glide module was developed. These glide modules allow the suits to act like the former paratroopers and a mobile light infantry unit was formed.
Multiple training exercises have been conducted in which two to four LAT Solids attached to the legs of WINDFALLS drop from the sky for high-speed descent and deployment. Through such operations, they have been able to penetrate MSG-controlled areas.
Model Specifications:
? Despite its small stature (78mm), the model features 29 points of articulation, allowing it to kneel and assume various poses.
? The neck joint can move forward and backward to create a wide variety of poses such as tucking in the chin and facing upward diagonally.
? The ankle joints are moveable for extra stability when standing.
? The included carbon blade can be attached to the magazine holder on the waist.
? Various parts can be attached to the model via the HEXA G-R.A.M connector on its back and the 3mm connection points on the thighs and lower back hip.
? The color scheme of this model is blue, light gray, dark brown, black, and orange.

A model kit comes unassembled on plastic sprues (the frames that hold the parts). You cut, glue, and paint the pieces yourself, it's a hands-on building experience that can take anywhere from a few hours to several evenings. A diecast car is a pre-built, pre-painted metal collectible ready for display straight out of the box. Both are scaled replicas, but kits are for builders who enjoy the process, and diecast is for collectors who want a finished showpiece.
Scale is the size ratio compared to the real vehicle:
1:12 — About 14". Museum-level detail, large display piece.
1:18 — About 10". Most popular collector scale. Often features opening doors, hood, and trunk.
1:24 / 1:25 — About 7". Most popular kit-building scale. Great balance of detail and size.
1:32 / 1:43 — About 4–5". Compact, ideal for larger collections.
1:64 — Hot Wheels size. Perfect for collecting by the dozens.
1:87 — Smallest. Typically used with model train layouts.
Choose based on your display space, detail preference, and whether you're building a collection or a single showcase piece.
Start with a snap-together kit, no glue or paint required. Revell and AMT both make great beginner kits in 1:25 scale, rated skill level 1 or 2. Pick a car you love, that motivation makes the build more enjoyable. Once you're comfortable, move to a cement-assembly kit with basic paint. We carry beginner kits starting under $20. It depends on the kit and your preference:
- Acrylic (water-based) — Beginner-friendly, easy cleanup, low odor. Tamiya and Vallejo are popular choices.
- Enamel — Smoother finish, longer drying time, requires mineral spirits. Testors is the classic choice for Revell kits.
- Lacquer — Dries fastest, hardest finish, requires good ventilation. Tamiya TS spray cans are lacquer-based.
Important: Don't mix paint types on the same surface without a primer coat between them. Every paint listing on our site clearly shows the type and compatible brands.
Skill levels help you choose the right kit:
Level 1 — Snap-together, no glue or paint needed. Great for kids and absolute beginners.
Level 2 — Simple glue assembly, minimal painting.
Level 3 (Intermediate) — Standard cement assembly with painting. Most kits fall here.
