Spray cans are the shortcut to an airbrush finish. For body coats
especially, a can lays down a more even film than most people can
brush — no stroke marks, no thinning to work out, no cleanup.
The technique is the same as an airbrush: light coats, steady passes,
and let each one flash off before the next. One heavy coat is what
causes runs and orange peel.
Our range covers Tamiya's TS lacquer cans and AS aircraft colors,
Testors and Revell sprays in gloss, flat and metallic, plus primers
and clear coats for prep and finishing.
Warm the can in hand-hot water for a few minutes before spraying — raising the pressure gives a finer, wetter spray and noticeably better flow-out. And check what you're spraying onto: lacquer over bare plastic can craze, so prime first.
